Welcome 2020, Happy New Year!

I'm back to work in full swing after a lovely 2 weeks off with my family. It's a good feeling. A new diary, which I love. A bit like buying new stationary when I was at school at the start of a new term. New stock in the next few weeks, lovely new fabric designs and the promise of lighter evenings and spring. The shop looks good, I boxed up the last few Christmas decorations that didn't sell, changed my window, filling it with products to celebrate my love of the British countryside. Stags, Pheasants and fox designs on beautiful cushions and throws, and lighting. I will be sharing some images of my new fabric collections that are available from Art of The Loom. At home I am planning what to grow in my greenhouse and our huge raised veg bed. Every year this gives me great pleasure, and for me seeing the first shoot appear from a seed has the same excitement every time. You know it will happen, but it's filled with promise of a supply of delicious tomatoes, or tasty courgettes. A bit like finding eggs that the chickens have laid that morning. So here's to a good year! As always it will have it's challenges but I look forward to it all the same!

Best wishes to you all. Penny. x
